Overview

Pííî-lèthètê Bî was founded durring the early 14th century in fall of the year 1340, by Shonhê Dyèqtêpí. The establishment of Pííî-lèthètê Bî was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Shonhê Dyèqtêpí struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Pííî-lèthètê Bî as a prison colony.

Pííî-lèthètê Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Pííî-lèthètê Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Pííî-lèthètê Bî is buildings are built arround a single broad cobblestone mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town lacks any defencive features, though certainly constructing even a simple fence or digging a ditch is at the forefront of the 's mind. At least, one would hope so.

Right off the bat Pííî-lèthètê Bî hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. The influx of wealth has brought with it an influx of relaxation. Everywhere you look people are enjoying their prosperity in a slow, casual, and deliberate manner. There’s no rush for anything anywhere you look.

Cultural Notes

Pííî-lèthètê Bî's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by vertical proportions, pointed arches, external buttressing, and asymmetry in the general shape of its buildings. The decorative features of the style were key, consisting of large arched windows, pointed arches, vaulted ceilings, flying buttresses, and sculptures integrated into the structure itself. Occasionally, for very important buildings, an array of sculptures or one colossal sculpture might replace the entirety of the entrance to said building.

In Pííî-lèthètê Bî sometimes, near one of the seasonal solstices, the sun appears to split into three and it rains from a clear sky for several hours.

The Trollkin near Pííî-lèthètê Bî are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.

Pííî-lèthètê Bî's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves gestures to channel Transmutation energies of tier 3 via divine sermons.

Points of Interest

While private tutelage of worthy apprentices can be had even in most remote villages, Pííî-lèthètê Bî is home to a proper school dedicated to teaching magic. Such schools are usually small, with no more than a few dozen pupils, most of whom will fail for lack of talent or discipline. The instructors are rarely first-rate, usually serving only for the pay and status, but sometimes a genius sorcerer will find a reason to observe likely apprentices here. Given the unfortunate accident potential of the school, it’s probably isolated or well-fortified.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century the Kami solved a major long term problem plaguing the town. One of Pííî-lèthètê Bî's local festivals commemorates this miracle.
